Al Menke has over 20 years of experience in project management and technical architecture roles. Al began their career in 1998 as an Engagement Manager at BORN Group. In 2004, they were promoted to the role of Director of Applications at Indiana Pension Systems. In 2005, they were promoted to Program Manager at Horace Mann Insurance Companies and Project Manager at MSF&W. At MSF&W, they also served as HL7 Architect for Epic & MSF&W Software Integration. In 2012, they were promoted to Project Manager at the Illinois State Treasurer's Office. In 2013, they were promoted to Sr Project Manager/Technical Architect at Practice Water, LLC and Project Manager at American Institutes for Research. In 2015, they began working as a Project Manager at the Illinois Department of Transportation, where they were the lead PM for the transition to e-Construction. Al also assisted in Business Process Analysis and Requirements, including systems that support Construction Implementation, Contract Management, and Materials Inspection.
Al Menke obtained a BS in Computer Science from Purdue University between 1985 and 1988. Al later obtained a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2011. Al also holds a Private Aircraft Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration.
