Bobbie Wasson-Woodard

Bobbie Wasson-Woodard has worked in the Information Technology field since 1998. Bobbie started their career at Fusion Broadband as the VP Operations, VP Network Operations, and Network Support Manager. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring the functionality and optimization of all systems, nationwide. Bobbie also established and staffed a Customer Service department and a Network Operations Support Center. From 2007 to 2016, they worked as a Senior Project Manager/Lead Program Planner/Delivery Planner for TEKsystems and PDS Technical Services. During this time, they managed various projects over the SDLC in all areas of Systems environment including storage, research, operating systems, database upgrades, customer service applications, claims transitions, software development, and testing. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Senior Information Technology Project Manager for Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. (LRS). In this role, they managed the primary project for a program conducting changes to multiple business areas to comply with the Department of Labor (DOL) Fiduciary Ruling. Bobbie also managed planning and execution for multiple work streams to ensure compliance. Finally, from 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Information Technology Project Manager for Horace Mann. In this role, they managed strategic and critical projects for various business needs and products such as Retirement Products, Finance Department, Trade Automation, General Ledger software, Check Writing software, and changes to back-end Actuarial software.

Bobbie Wasson-Woodard has a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering/Engineering Management from the University of Tennessee Space Institute, an Applied Mathematics and Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, an Applied Mathematics degree from Oklahoma State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Pittsburg State University. Additionally, Bobbie has obtained certifications in Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) from Learning Solutions (2019), Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance (2016), Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (2016 and 2003), Certified Train the Trainer from The Training Channel, LLC, and Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) from Cisco.
