Thomas F. Janssen

Thomas F. Janssen has been working in the information technology industry since 1992. Thomas F. began their career as a Senior Consultant Responsible for Defined Benefit Pension Programs at Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. In 1999, they moved to MSF&W, Inc. where they served as a Sr. System Consultant coordinating Medicaid Reimbursement services for the Illinois School for the Deaf, Illinois School for the Visually Impaired and Illinois Center for Rehabilitation and Education. In 2003, they became the Director of Information Technology, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery at Horace Mann. At Horace Mann, they increased operational effectiveness through strategic budgeting, innovative design and support of infrastructure and disaster recovery technology. In 2011, they moved to Memorial Health System as Manager, Business Intelligence & Enterprise Data Warehousing. In 2016, they returned to MSF&W as a Senior Manager, where they are currently working with DSCC to develop a state-of-the-art Claims Processing System and worked with the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) to develop an innovative way for educators in Illinois to access important information and statistics.

Thomas F. Janssen has a diverse educational background. Thomas F. obtained an Associates in Business from Lincoln Land Community College in 1984, followed by a Bachelor of Business in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Information Science (Mathematics Based Computers) from Western Illinois University in 1986. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Mapping & Diagramming, Miro Essentials, and Certified SAFe 4 Product Owner/Product Manager from Miro and Scaled Agile, Inc. respectively.
