Dr. Nicolas Burkardt

Dr. Nicolas Burkardt has worked for various companies in different roles related to finance, strategy, and management. Dr. Nicolas started their career as an Intern in Corporate Finance at Schaeffler in 2016, and a year later, they worked as an Intern at KPMG in Restructuring and M&A. In 2014, they became a Research Assistant at the Institute of Management at Karlsruher Institut fur Technologie (KIT), working on strategy-related projects. In 2017, Burkardt joined Straint as a Consultant and later got promoted to Project Manager, where they worked on strategy and game theory-based projects. At the same time, they were also a Research Associate and Doctoral Student at the Institute of Management at KIT.

Burkardt has also worked on corporate finance and strategy for companies like HQS Quantum Simulations and Volocopter GmbH. Dr. Nicolas served as the Corporate Finance Lead and Executive Assistant to CFO and Senior Manager Corporate Finance at Volocopter in 2019.
