Valeriu Scutelnic

Researcher at Marvel Fusion

Valeriu Scutelnic has worked in various research-related roles since 2012. In 2012, they were a summer student at DESY and in 2013 they worked as a summer research student at the University of Southern California. Valeriu joined EPFL as a PhD student in 2014 and was focused on combining IR/UV spectroscopy and mass spectrometry to study the structure and dynamics of biomolecules. In 2019, they joined the UC Berkeley College of Chemistry as a postdoctoral researcher where they worked on experiments in the field of ultrafast soft X-ray spectroscopy. Valeriu is currently working at Marvel Fusion since 2022 as a researcher.

Valeriu Scutelnic earned a Master's Degree in Radiation Chemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) in 2014. Valeriu went on to receive their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physical Chemistry from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in 2019. There is no information on any additional certifications they may have obtained.
