Derek Hardy

Derek Hardy is an accomplished cybersecurity leader currently serving as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Marvell Technology, while also participating on the Security Advisory Board at Dell Technologies and advising as an Executive Adviser and Angel Investor at OperAngels. With extensive experience from previous roles such as CISO at AMD and Global Head of Security Architecture at Deutsche Bank, where significant advancements in security architecture were achieved, Derek has demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity strategy, engineering, and operations throughout a progressive career spanning over two decades. Notable previous positions include Chief Technologist at Booz Allen Hamilton and Director of Engineering at ManTech, complemented by a solid educational background with a Master’s in Information Assurance from Norwich University and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Eastern Mennonite University.
