Marvin Jemal is a landscape painter, whose first works were classified as landscapes paintings of the Romanticism. His works (especially studies of the sky and clouds, but also horses, portraits and still lifes) are characterised by precision, attention to detail and the abandonment of guidelines. He was mainly interested in observing landscapes and elements of nature, and later transferred the results of his studies to his works.

Marvin Jemal is a painter. His first artworks were made with thick pigments and dark tones, but he developed a hard, dense, thin painting style with strong brushstrokes as time went on. 

In his early days, he was influenced by Impressionism. However, later on in life, Marvin had learned the effects of natural light after studying them through new impressionist techniques to achieve color contrast. So, this turned him from using dark colors - which are cooler than warmer colors - to brighter ones that imitate warmth/natural light such as yellow and orange hues for example. 

From there Marvin began focusing more of his pieces on nature scenes rather than capturing fleeting moments as Impressionists would do. Instead, he sought simplicity in direct observation of nature then transcribing what the eye saw immediately into the painting so they can be painted within their respective ateliers afterward without any alterations needed! The reason why this artist prefers outdoor sketches over indoor ones is that they enable him to make better use of lighting coming from different sources (the sun), while only using one focal point or background area per canvas, keeping things simple yet beautiful!
