Nicole Honore

Nicole Honore has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Nicole is currently serving as the Director of Equity in Cancer Care at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Programs at 100 Black Men of Metropolitan Baton Rouge from 2019 to 2022. Before that, they were the Regional Director at the Greater Education Opportunities (GEO) Foundation, Inc. from 2018 to 2019. Prior to their roles in the nonprofit sector, they worked at the Louisiana Department of Education for almost two decades, holding the position of State Director until their retirement in 2018. Nicole also worked as a Field Coordinator at La Systemic Initiative Program (LaSIP) from 1997 to 1999 and as a Secondary Math Teacher at the East Baton Rouge Parish School System from 1995 to 1997.
