Elizabeth Andresen is a dedicated Behavior Therapist at Mary Cariola Children's Center since July 2015, with prior experience as an ABA Instructor/Assistant Teacher at The Ivymount School. Elizabeth also has experience as a Student Caller at Phonathon, where outreach for Gettysburg College took place. A Research Assistant at Saint Peter's University Hospital, Elizabeth contributed to a project on early autism detection, and also served as an intern at Jump Start 4 Autism, supporting therapeutic sessions for children with autism. Education includes a Master’s Degree in Human Development and ABA from the University of Rochester, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Music from Gettysburg College, and a study abroad program focused on Child Development at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad.

Mary Cariola Center is the regional leader in personalized, interdisciplinary, evidenced-based education and life skill solutions that inspire and empower individuals and the families of those with multiple, complex disabilities. Mary Cariola Center is an independent, non-profit agency and is regarded as a leader in providing education, residential programs and other services for individuals with disabilities. The Center was the first in the nation to have a sensory room, and opened New York State’s first group home for children and youth with significant behavior management needs.
