Joanne Fisher possesses extensive experience in communications and development, currently serving as a Communications Specialist and Development Specialist at Mary Cariola Children's Center since May 2006. In this role, Joanne is responsible for fundraising, communications, community outreach, coordinating gifts in kind, managing database staff, and addressing various other tasks. Prior to this position, Joanne worked as a Call Center Manager at Time Warner Cable from 1990 to 2005. Joanne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from St. Bonaventure University.

Mary Cariola Center is the regional leader in personalized, interdisciplinary, evidenced-based education and life skill solutions that inspire and empower individuals and the families of those with multiple, complex disabilities. Mary Cariola Center is an independent, non-profit agency and is regarded as a leader in providing education, residential programs and other services for individuals with disabilities. The Center was the first in the nation to have a sensory room, and opened New York State’s first group home for children and youth with significant behavior management needs.
