I have MIL Dip. (German) and RSA Dip. (Oxford Brookes 1984). I worked for many years in administrative roles in a number of industries in London, including finance, marketing, recruitment/HR, the NHS, engineering, arts, property, the charity sector - to name a few, before making a change and training in Theatre (acting) with a professional company in Canada, with which I undertook a full-time professional apprenticeship in 1994.

In 2005 I trained to become a certified SIMA® associate. Since then I have worked with individuals and companies using this programme. My clientele has encompassed Company CEOs , ex-offenders, secondary school youth, the unemployed, military veterans, the self-employed, those in retirement, as well as company coaching and using this programme in recruitment. I have given a number of talks and seminars on the subjects of 'Career as a Calling',  and other topics related to the coaching.

I co-run a charity Phoenix Performing Arts Trust (1989), set up a theatre ensemble in 2010 (TouchPoint Productions) and in 2019 I co-founded CORE Theatre arts Training Academy which includes personal development and vocational coaching as a significant part of the programme.

I am on the enhanced DBS update service, am First Aid trained and have a certificate in Specialist Safeguarding for Children.

Since 2025 my focus is now particularly working with NEET, at risk and ex-offenders. The confidential nature of this coaching enables working with people of all backgrounds and is particularly helpful for those who are disadvantaged educationally and socially.
