Megan Hetzel

Megan Hetzel serves as the Clinical Risk Manager at Mary Washington Healthcare since April 2012, where responsibilities include oversight of daily operations, developing departmental budgets, and creating educational plans. Previously, Megan held the position of Nurse Manager for Inpatient General Surgery and Assistant Nurse Manager, focusing on customer service and handling patient complaints. Prior experience includes serving as an RN at VCU Health System, managing patient placement. Megan holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Foods, Nutrition, and Wellness Studies from Radford University, along with nursing degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University and Piedmont Virginia Community College.
