Brandy Henderson

Brandy Henderson, LPC, is an experienced therapist currently working at Marygrove since August 2020, specializing in therapeutic support for children aged 8-18 with emotional and behavioral issues stemming from early childhood trauma. In addition to this role, Brandy serves as a foster home therapist, managing a caseload of 14 youth aged 8 to 20 who face learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, and mental health disorders, utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). Prior to current positions, Brandy dedicated time as a full-time student and homemaker while developing essential skills in organization and communication. Earlier professional experience includes roles such as fleet manager at J.B. Hunt Transport Services, seed hub specialist at Monsanto Company, and assistant chief deputy for St. Charles County Government. Education includes a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lindenwood University and a Bachelor of Science in Business/Human Resource Management.
