Chris Keavney

Chris Keavney has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector and information technology. Currently serving as the IS Manager for Maryknoll Lay Missioners since August 1995, Chris is responsible for all aspects of the organization's IT operations. Previously, Chris founded a grassroots solar energy education project in Peru, promoting solar cooking and water heating. Prior experience includes working as a Technologist at Mobil Solar Energy Corporation, where adaptation of high-efficiency solar cell structures was a primary focus, and contributing to various solar cell research projects at Spire Corporation. Chris holds a Master of Science in Materials Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
