Intake Specialist at Maryland Addiction Recovery Center

Amanda Winfield is an Intake Specialist at Maryland Addiction Recovery Center. Born and raised in Rhode Island, Amanda received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Work from Rhode Island College. Amanda is currently a certified drug and alcohol trainee. Prior to working at MARC, Amanda was an addiction counselor who was responsible for maintaining an individualized caseload while also facilitating outpatient (OP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programming for individuals affected by substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders.

Amanda is passionate about this field of work and feels she has the unique capacity to balance personal experience, knowledge, and clinical experience to outreach patients and their families. At MARC, Amanda handles clinical intakes for patients entering MARC’s continuum of care. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending her free time traveling and exploring different cultures, as well as watching football.
