Julie Knox-Brown

Julie Knox-Brown has over 40 years of experience in academic advising and career counseling, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Advising at Howard Community College since January 1987. Responsibilities include coordinating academic advising programs, supervising academic advisors, and collaborating with division chairpersons. Prior roles include Career Counselor and Faculty at Coppin State College and Assistant Director of the Career Development Center at Coppin State University, along with foundational experience in career counseling and advising. Julie holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Cincinnati and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Elementary Education from Morgan State University.
