Colleen McMullen

Colleen McMullen is an accomplished environmental professional with extensive experience in various roles within the environmental sector. Currently serving as the Lead Environmental Specialist at the Maryland Environmental Service since November 2023, Colleen previously worked as a Staff Environmental Scientist at Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. from August 2020 to November 2023, and as a Project Manager at Advantage Environmental Consultants, LLC from October 2016 to August 2020. Colleen's expertise includes conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, managing NEPA reports, and serving as an EPA-accredited AHERA Asbestos Inspector. Prior experiences include internships focused on ecosystem restoration and invasive species management, along with research assistance at the University of Maryland, where Colleen contributed to studies on pest species. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland, obtained in 2014.
