Robert L. Witt II

Robert L. Witt, II was appointed to the Board of Directors of Maryland Environmental Service on July 1, 2021 and currently serves as the Board Secretary and a member of the Human Resources Committee. Mr. Witt is the Project Manager for the Garrett County Department of Public Works in Oakland, MD. He has been employed by Garrett County since 2005 and has nearly 20 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry.

Mr. Witt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Management from DeVry University (2014), having earned an Associate of Science in Machining Technology from Potomac State University (2004).

Mr. Witt was honored in 2011 with the Maryland Rising Star Award for exemplary service to local government. He is active with the Oakland/Mountain Lake Park Lions Club.
