FloJean Speck has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. FloJean began their career as a Volunteer at the Cocker Spaniel Adoption Center from 2001 to 2019. FloJean then worked as an Administrative Assistant at The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore from 2004 to 2007, providing support for external communications and fundraising events.

FloJean Speck completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Goucher College, which they attended from 1979 to 1984. FloJean further pursued their education at The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, where they were a Fellow in Change Management from 1993 to 1994.

Maryland Family Network leads two statewide networks: Family Support Centers help parents meet their goals of becoming economically self-sufficient and raising healthy, successful children. The Maryland Child Care Resource Network helps parents find child care and offers training to child care providers to improve the quality of care. We’re working to make Maryland a great place to be a kid!
