Ashley Funk

Ashley Funk is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community programs and business development. Currently serving as Senior Director of Community Programs at the Maryland Food Bank since November 2024, Ashley provides strategic vision to address food insecurity through statewide partnerships. As the Founder and Principal of Mother Tree Coaching and Consulting since July 2024, Ashley offers expertise in coaching and consulting services. Additionally, Ashley has held significant roles at Beloved Community, overseeing client relationships and revenue generation, and previously worked at The Y in Central Maryland in various executive positions from May 2016 to March 2023. Ashley's early career includes leadership roles at the Greater Philadelphia YMCA. Educational background includes a Master of Business Administration in progress at Howard University School of Business, a Master of Public Health in Behavioral and Community Health Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the same institution.
