Lehna Huie

Lehna Huie serves as the Assistant Director of Career Advising and Career Advisor for Fine Arts at the Maryland Institute College of Art since October 2021. Prior experience includes being a Muralist Teaching Artist at Groundswell Community Murals from September 2012 to August 2019, Faculty at the Sadie Nash Leadership Project between February 2017 and February 2019, and holding roles as a Legacy Specialist and Art Teacher at the Joan Mitchell Foundation from September 2012 to December 2016. Lehna Huie holds a Master of Fine Arts in Multidisciplinary Arts with a focus on Interdisciplinary Sculpture and Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art, earned in 2021, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the School of Visual Arts, obtained in 2010.
