David Powers

David Powers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in civil site design and field inspection. Currently semi-retired and self-employed since September 2022, Powers previously served as a Senior Field Inspector for Daniel Consultants Inc. and KCI Technologies, Inc., overseeing Maryland State Highway Administration projects in District 2. Roles involved thorough inspections of roadways, guardrails, traffic signals, and infrastructure. Earlier in the career, Powers held the position of Senior Civil Site Designer at McCrone, Inc., managing diverse projects from residential subdivisions to commercial developments. Powers started in the workforce as an Opening Staff Trainer/Manager at Denny's, managing new restaurant openings and team training. Education includes an academic degree from ELHS, obtained between 1969 and 1973.
