Stephanie Travis possesses extensive experience in military cyber operations and education. Currently serving as Chief of Standards and Evaluation and Chief of Weapons and Tactics with the Maryland National Guard, as well as Program Manager for Basing and Conversions at the National Guard Bureau, Travis guides states in the Department of the Air Force Strategic Basing Process. As the Director of the Senior Military College Cyber Institute at Virginia Tech and former Editor in Chief of CYBER Magazine, Travis has demonstrated leadership in cyber education and publication. Previous roles in the United States Air Force involved operations assessment, cybersecurity planning, and instruction in cyber warfare, contributing significantly to DoD-wide initiatives and integration of cyber capabilities. Academic credentials include a PhD candidate in Computer Science at Virginia Tech, a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Johns Hopkins, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the United States Air Force Academy.
