Jenny Chan

Jenny Chan has a diverse work experience in the optometry field, starting with their role as a Loan Processor/Closer at Business Loan Express, LLC in 2006. Jenny then worked as an Adjunct Professor at Gulf Coast State College in 2008 before transitioning to the role of an Optometric Technician at Academy of Eyecare from 2008 to 2009. Jenny completed their Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University, where they gained extensive clinical experience in various specialties such as glaucoma, contact lens fitting, pediatrics, and primary care. Jenny also interned as a Student Optometric Physician at Katzen Eye Group in 2012, conducting pre-op screenings and post-op evaluations for surgical patients. After completing their education, Jenny worked as an Optometrist at Centre Park Family Eye Care from 2013 to 2017 and then at Kaiser Permanente from 2017 to 2020. Jenny served as the Society President for the Greater Baltimore Optometric Society under the Maryland Optometric Association starting in 2015. Currently, Jenny is the Owner of Clarity Eyecare, a position they have held since August 2020.

Jenny Chan completed their education with a Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. Before that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Carnegie Mellon University, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. Prior to their university studies, they completed their high school education at Cherokee High School from 1998 to 2002.
