Barbara Burke has extensive experience in staff development and specialized training, currently serving as a Staff Development Specialist at The Maryland School for the Blind since January 1995. Prior to this role, Barbara worked as the Coordinator of Specialized Training at the University of Maryland School of Medicine Pediatrics from May 1991 to April 1994, and as the Coordinator of Education, Training & Programs at ARC of Baltimore from 1981 to 1991. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Business/Human Resource Specialty from Capella University, earned between 2005 and 2009, and attended Morgan State University from 1981 to 1987.
