Aretha Jordan has extensive experience in fiscal account management, currently serving as a Fiscal Accounts Technician at the Maryland Stadium Authority since August 2017, where responsibilities include reviewing and processing a high volume of invoices and generating accounts receivables invoices. Previously, during a tenure at the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation from September 2016 to August 2017, Aretha processed applications for racing licenses and handled mailing tasks. Aretha's earlier experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist at The University of Maryland Medical System involved managing utility, telecom, and purchase order invoices while addressing vendor inquiries and resolving discrepancies. Aretha holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Baltimore and an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in the same field from Baltimore City Community College.
Maryland Stadium Authority
The Maryland Stadium Authority (MSA) was established by the General Assembly in 1986. The original mission was to build, manage, and maintain quality facilities to retain Major League Baseball, and return the National Football League to Maryland. For 35 years, MSA has completed projects in partnership with local governments, universities, and the private sector throughout Maryland. These include convention centers, museums, theaters, parks, and campus centers in addition to sports arenas. They have been completed on time, on budget.
