Nikki Green

Nikki Green is an experienced professional in the field of education and childcare. Currently serving as a Lead Licensing Specialist at the Maryland State Department of Education since March 2023, Nikki has also held the position of Licensing Specialist at the Maryland State Education Association since March 2017. Prior to these roles, Nikki operated Wee-Ones Family Daycare from August 2001 to March 2017 as a Childcare Provider and Owner, focusing on the care and education of children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. Nikki's entrepreneurial background includes ownership of another childcare facility, where customer satisfaction and effective communication with parents were priorities. Additionally, from January 2000 to August 2001, Nikki worked as an IT Professional Coordinator with TEKsystems, coordinating funding for IT project managers. Nikki holds a Master's degree in Psychology from Fayetteville State University, as well as a Bachelor's degree and multiple associate degrees in Early Childhood Education.
