Katlyn DeGraw has a diverse work experience in the field of music as a cellist. Katlyn started their career in 2012, working as a Cello Faculty at The International School of Music and Bridges Program. In 2013, they expanded their experience by becoming a Cello Faculty at the Waldorf School of Baltimore, while also taking on the role of Section Cello at The Maryland Symphony Orchestra. Katlyn continued to excel in their career by joining the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra as a Substitute Cello.
In 2014, Katlyn took on the position of Substitute Cello at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and the Allentown Symphony Orchestra. Katlyn also became a Section Cello at the Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestras. The following year, they joined the Richmond Symphony as a Section Cello and later became a Substitute Cello. During this time, they also worked as a Guest Musician at the Charleston Symphony Orchestra.
Throughout their career, Katlyn has showcased their skills and expertise as a cellist, gaining valuable experience in various orchestras and educational institutions.
Katlyn DeGraw earned their Bachelor of Music in cello performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Music from 2005 to 2009. Katlyn continued their education at the Eastman School of Music, where they received their Master of Music in cello performance from 2009 to 2011.
