Vice President, Learning And Leadership Development at MARYS CENTER FOR MATERNAL AND CHILD CARE INC

Alis Marachelian has a diverse work experience, starting in 2001 with Mary's Center where they held various roles, including Vice President of Learning and Leadership Development and Senior Director of Community Health Initiatives and Strategic Alliances. During their time at Mary's Center, they designed and established the Health Promotion Department, managed a growing budget portfolio, and led the creation of an inter-disciplinary Research Review Committee.

In addition to their work at Mary's Center, Alis Marachelian has also had roles as a Core Group Guide and Executive Coach at Chief starting in 2023, as the Owner Principal of Shift & Thrive Life Coaching, LLC since 2016, and as a Member of the Board of Directors for the River Place North Community Association, also since 2016.

They were also a DC Planning Council Board Member for the Metro Wash. Ryan White Planning Council from 2012 to 2017, and worked as a Consultant for Infusion Consulting, LLC from 2011 to 2015.

Alis Marachelian's education history includes obtaining a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Maternal & Child Health Promotion, Global from The George Washington University School of Public Health & Health Sciences from 1999 to 2001. In 1993 to 1997, Alis pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences with a focus on Human Physiology at Boston University. Later, in 2015 to 2016, Alis completed a certification program at CTI The Coaches Training Institute, becoming a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach with a specialization in Professional, Executive, Business, and Life Coaching. Additional certifications include the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) certification from the International Coaching Federation, obtained in June 2022, and the Co-Active Professional Coaching certification from Coaches Training Institute (CTI), obtained in April 2015.
