Naima Makena Kiburi

Naima Makena Kiburi, DDS, currently serves as a Dentist at Mary's Center since August 2023. Previously, Naima completed a General Practice Residency at WellSpan Health from June 2022 to June 2023. Naima's educational background includes a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB), and a Bachelor of Biological Sciences from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Naima has diverse experience, including research at the National Institute of Standards and Technology investigating the effects of dental materials on stem cells, as well as teaching roles in neurobiology, French language, and swim instruction to children of various ages.
