Hayden Saunders has a diverse work experience in HR and business partnering. Hayden is currently the Head Business Partner at MAS - Medical Assurance Society, starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a People Partner - Business Partnering at Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency from July 2020 to September 2022. From February 2018 to July 2020, they served as a Senior HR Consultant at Summerset Group Holdings Limited, where they handled various HR responsibilities. Hayden also has experience as an HR Implementation Consultant at Mazars UK from July 2016 to August 2017 and as a Human Resources Consultant at Buzzacott LLP from August 2014 to April 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Industrial Relations Advisor at the Ministry of Education of New Zealand from August 2012 to April 2014 and as an HR Support Officer at NZ Police National Headquarters from April 2010 to August 2012.
Hayden Saunders attended the University of Otago from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General. They also obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Commerce from the same university, completing it in 2009.
