Lakmal Gunasekara

Lakmal Gunasekara is a Senior Design Engineer specializing in Santoni Seamless Technology at MAS Holdings since November 2019, where responsibilities include designing seamless garments for renowned clients such as Nike, Lululemon, and Patagonia. Prior experience includes serving as an Executive in Dyeing Technical at Teejay Lanka PLC, recognized as South Asia’s largest Textile Group, and a Fabric Technologist at Brandix, where involvement focused on high-profile US brands like Tommy Hilfiger and CK. An engineering foundation was established through an internship at Teejay Lanka PLC, along with initial work experience at the Bank of Ceylon. Lakmal holds a degree in Textile Sciences and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and is an Associate Member of the Institution of Incorporated Engineers in Sri Lanka, currently pursuing further education in software engineering.
