Tharuka Sigera

Tharuka Sigera is an experienced professional in product innovation and technology within the textile industry, currently serving as the Assistant Manager for Technology Entrepreneur - Product Innovation at MAS Holdings since August 2021. Tharuka drives strategic projects by collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders. Previous roles include Assistant Manager of Technical & Product Development at Hirdaramani Group, focusing on product developments with new technologies, and a Research and Development Engineer at MAS Holdings, where Tharuka worked on product development with bonding technology and process solutions for garment performance. Tharuka's career began with comprehensive training as a Management Trainee at MAS Holdings, following an internship in Design and Development. Tharuka holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a specialization in Textiles and Clothing Technology from the University of Moratuwa, completed in 2014.
