Vivek Ramchandani

Vivek Ramchandani has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Vivek currently holds the position of Director - Growth & Business Development at MAS Holdings, a role they started in May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the CEO of Safeguard Workwear from May 2021 to May 2022, where they focused on providing professional protective equipment for the healthcare, safety, and industrial sectors.

From 2018 to 2021, Vivek held the position of Director - Product Innovation and Design at MAS Holdings, where they led the Apparel Innovation Creation Center in Sri Lanka. Vivek was responsible for driving business growth and introducing groundbreaking apparel design and production methods.

Before that, from 2013 to 2017, Vivek worked at Twinery - Innovations by MAS, where they held various roles including Head of Discovery Labs and Innovation Lead. In these roles, they focused on studying technology trends, developing technology roadmaps, and driving product launches through innovation methods.

Vivek's work experience also includes an engineering role at MAS Research & Innovation from 2008 to 2013, where they identified improvements in manufacturing processes and implemented solutions. Additionally, they have held roles in creative development and marketing at Calilink Web Development in 2008 and internships at Deutsche Bank, Dialog Telekom PLC, and MAS Holdings in 2007.

Vivek'searly professional experience includes a role in marketing, promotions, and advertising at www.Hotels.lk in 2006.

Vivek Ramchandani attended the Colombo International School from 1989 to 2005, where they completed their O' & A' Levels in Further Mathematics, Physics, and Business Studies. In 2005, they enrolled at the University of Nottingham and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Engineering hons degree in Mechanical Engineering. Later on, from 2012 to 2014, they pursued a Masters in Manufacturing Management at the University of Colombo. In 2011, they also obtained another Masters in Manufacturing Management from the same university, specializing in Manufacturing Engineering.
