Jiri Urban

Jiri Urban is a Principal Investigator at Masaryk University since January 2017, focusing on the preparation of monolithic capillary columns with controlled selectivity for chromatographic screening of dopamine metabolism-related diseases. Previously, Jiri Urban held the same title at the University of Pardubice from January 2011 to December 2016, specializing in organic polymer monoliths and capillary liquid chromatography. Jiri Urban's postdoctoral research occurred at the University of California, Berkeley, from January 2009 to January 2011, and included user work at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory on hypercrosslinked organic polymer monoliths. Early research experience includes roles at various institutions, including the University of Amsterdam and Eindhoven University of Technology, focusing on polymer characterization and chromatography techniques. Jiri Urban earned both an MSc and a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Pardubice between 1996 and 2007.
