Sharon Bwanya

Sharon joined Masawara in 2021 as Group General Counsel, a role in which she oversees the corporate, legal, and regulatory affairs of all the group companies. Previously, Sharon served as the Chief Operating Officer of a pan-African investment management and advisory firm. She is a commercial lawyer by training and has worked in leading regional and international commercial law firms in Zimbabwe, Botswana, and the United Kingdom. Sharon has a global outlook having studied, lived in, and worked in different countries which include South Africa, United Kingdom, Germany, and the United States. She is lauded for being a commercially aware, lateral thinking, and detail-oriented legal and investment professional.
