Maryam al Mazrouei

Maryam Al Mazrouei is a highly experienced professional in development and investment, currently serving as the Head of Development and Investment for the CIS region at Masdar since September 2016. With a progressive career at Masdar, roles have included Senior Manager and Team Leader, among others, focusing on investment strategies in the CIS and Russia. Additionally, Maryam holds a board member position at Masdar Azerbaijan Energy and has previous experience as a secondee at ADNOC Group. An educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Engineering Systems and Management from Masdar Institute, a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from United Arab Emirates University, and ongoing executive education at Harvard Business School Online and London Business School in finance and project management. Maryam’s early career involved research in climate change mitigation technologies and carbon capture processes.
