Ahmed El Dessouky

Ahmed El Dessouky is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across prominent financial institutions. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Information Security at Mashreq since February 2022, Ahmed previously held a Vice President position in the same department. Prior experience includes leading the Information Security GRC Unit at ALEXBANK from January 2018 to February 2022 and supervising information security at the National Bank of Egypt. Additional roles encompass positions at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank - Egypt, Orange Business Services, and ALEXBANK, where expertise in incident management and network security was developed. Ahmed holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Cairo University, obtained between 2005 and 2009.
