Ahmed Tarek

Ahmed Tarek, CFA, MSc., is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment banking and corporate finance. Currently serving as Director for Leveraged & Acquisition Finance at Mashreq Bank since April 2020, Ahmed has also held the position of Associate Director in the same area. Prior to this, Ahmed worked at Arab African International Bank from March 2013 to April 2020, starting as a Senior Financial Analyst and advancing to Relationship Manager in the Corporate & Institutional Banking Division. Initial experience includes a trainee position in the Dealing Room at Piraeus Bank in July 2008. Ahmed holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from Henley Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Cairo University, along with the CFA designation.
