Akram Salah

Akram Salah is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in compliance and operations within the banking and financial sectors. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of the Treasury & Capital Markets Compliance Unit at Mashreq Bank since September 2017, Akram previously held the position of Head of Compliance at IG Limited from March 2015 to July 2017 and rejoined Mashreq Bank as Head of the Treasury and Capital Market Compliance Unit from December 2007 to March 2015. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Taib Securities Inc. and the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority, where Akram worked as an Economic Researcher. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration and certificates in Rules and Regulations from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
