Corey Thompson

Corey Thompson currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Head of Digital for the Retail Banking Group at Mashreq Bank, where responsibilities include leading digital initiatives and enhancing customer experiences through technology and agile practices. Corey is also a Partner at True Global Ventures, contributing to investments in prominent Web3 companies. Previously, Corey co-chaired the Digital Banking & Payments Committee at the FinTech Association of Hong Kong, addressing key industry issues, and headed digital product management at HSBC, focusing on transforming banking services in Hong Kong. Corey’s career in digital strategy began at Manulife, overseeing digital capabilities across multiple Asian markets. Corey holds an MBA from the University of Technology Sydney.
