Omar Alawadhi Cpia

Omar Alawadhi CPIA, IAP, currently serves as the Head of Internal Audit at Mashreq Bank since June 2021. Previous experience includes roles as Internal Audit Manager and Assistant Manager of Internal Audit at Gulf Bank from March 2016 to May 2021, and Internal Auditor at Burgan Bank from February 2013 to February 2016. Earlier positions include Relationship Officer at Boubyan Bank, Training and Quality Assurance at Commercial Bank of Kuwait, and Management Assistant at Agility. Omar holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Gulf University for Science and Technology, completed in 2009.
