Radu Topliceanu

Radu Topliceanu is an experienced banking executive currently serving as Executive Vice President and Head of Neo (Digital Banking) and Personal Banking at Mashreq since January 2023, where responsibilities include shaping digital banking strategy and driving growth in the UAE and new markets. Prior to this role, Radu held the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Head of Retail Banking at BRD - Groupe Societe Generale from August 2019 to December 2022, leading a customer-first omnichannel transformation. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Global Personal Banking, Products and Segments at Standard Chartered Bank and Managing Director of Retail Banking Segment and Multichannel Distribution at Sberbank Europe AG, where a focus on digital transformation was prominent. Additional leadership contributions were made as a member of the Supervisory Board at Sberbank banka d.d., Slovenija. Radu's educational background includes a Leadership and Management program at IMD and a Postgraduate Certificate in Banking Management from the Consumer Bankers Association Executive Banking School.
