Sanjay Varma

Sanjay Varma, ACTM, CIFE, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Assistant Vice President - Manager Credit Control & Monitoring at Mashreq Bank since December 2021. Prior positions include Team Leader in the Credit Administration Department at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and Assistant Vice President & Manager of the Credit Administration Department at Union National Bank. Sanjay began working at Mashreq Bank in various capacities related to credit operations starting from March 2006. Earlier in career, positions held include Manager at Mizuho Corporate Bank Limited and Assistant Manager at HDFC Bank. Sanjay holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Treasury & Forex Management from the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education and a Certified Islamic Finance Executive credential from the Ethica Institute of Islamic Finance, along with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai.
