Shekhar Walke

Shekhar Walke is an experienced professional in the banking sector, currently serving as Head of Operations and Technology and Alternate Chief Executive at Mashreqbank since August 2016. Prior to this role, Shekhar held the position of Vice President at HSBC Ltd. from November 2006 to September 2009, and was Head of Trade Operations at HDFC Bank from February 2000 to November 2006. In the latter role, Shekhar managed the Centralized Trade Finance Operations in Mumbai, overseeing areas such as inward remittance, retail forex sales, letter of credit processing, and various aspects of trade operations. Shekhar's academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science and certification as a CAIIB.
