Syed Hammad Haider

Syed Hammad Haider is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in sales and distribution strategies. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Direct Sales at Mashreq Bank since March 2017, Syed has been instrumental in enhancing customer experience and productivity through digital transformation. Previously, Syed held multiple senior roles at Standard Chartered Bank, including Global Head of Sales Force Models and MD of Personal Segment and Employee Banking Acquisition, where strategic leadership significantly improved sales productivity and customer acquisition across various markets. Syed's early career includes significant positions at Mashreq Bank and a management role at PepsiCo. Syed holds an MBA in Finance from Lahore University of Management Sciences, a B.Sc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Punjab, and has completed executive training at INSEAD and the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
