Dr. Ammar Hamadien, LLM, MBA, currently serves as the Chief Regional Digital Transformation Advisor for UNDP and holds advisory roles for multiple organizations, including DigiGov Central and Policy Impact Partners. As a co-founder and chairman of Shomoul (The Sudan FinTech Association), Dr. Hamadien has contributed significantly to the FinTech landscape. Previous positions include International Strategic Consultant for UNDP Iraq and Senior Advisor to the Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization. Dr. Hamadien's academic credentials encompass a Doctor of Business Administration focused on Digital Technology Diffusion and FinTech from the University of Bradford, a Master of Laws in Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Law from Queen Mary University of London, and an MBA from Imperial College Business School. Additional education includes various executive programs, reinforcing expertise in technology strategy, management, and public policy analysis.
