Mark Speck, CIA, CRMA

Mark Speck's work experience includes various roles in finance and compliance. Mark has served as the Chief Financial Officer for companies such as Reliability Incorporated, Maslow Media Group, Hawkeye Enterprises and Specktrum Compliance, CPA Global, LCC International, Winstar Communications, and ProList Inc. In these roles, Mark has been responsible for overseeing finance, accounting, treasury functions, and budgeting. Mark has also played a significant role in strategic planning, risk management, compliance, and internal audit. Mark has a strong track record of achieving financial objectives, implementing internal controls, and driving profitability.

Mark Speck's education history begins in 1978 when they attended the University of South Carolina for journalism. Mark then transferred to the University of Maryland and obtained a Bachelor's degree in an unspecified field of study. In 1980, they pursued their interest in history and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Maryland. In 1985 and 1986, Mark attended the American University and earned a Master's degree in Education.

In 2012, Mark furthered their education by attending the Harvard Business School Executive Education program, focusing on Business Leadership. During the same period, they also engaged in online education, completing a certificate in Business Administration and Management, General, from Harvard Business School Online between 2012 and 2014.

Additionally, Mark has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2008, they acquired the Certified Risk Management Assurance certification from the IIA Washington, D.C. Chapter. In 2013, they obtained the Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. Mark's other certifications include the Certified Internal Auditor from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc., obtained in 2015, and the ISO 19600 and ISO 37001 Certification from ETHIC Intelligence, obtained in 2018.
