Karl Mason

Karl Mason is the founder of Masons of Yorkshire. Karl has over fifteen years of experience in the media industry, holding various positions such as Company Secretary & Finance Director, Young Persons Business Mentor, School Governor, and Managing Director.

Mason's media career began in 2005 as Head of Sales Operations for Barker Brooks Media. In 2009, they transitioned to Ten Alps Publishing as Director. Two years later, Karl Mason became Managing Director for Open Doors Media Ltd., where they led the successful launch of a selection of publications, a website, and social media feeds in the youth and careers sectors.

In 2012, Mason took on the role of School Governor for Bedale High School. The following year, they joined Charlton Grant as Company Secretary & Finance Director. Karl Mason remained with Charlton Grant until 2015, when they left to start Masons of Yorkshire.

Karl Mason's educational career includes studying business and finance at Northallerton Grammar School and York College.
