Rory Payne

Rory Payne is an experienced professional in the brewing and distilling industry, currently serving as a Research Distiller at Masons of Yorkshire since October 2020. Previously, Rory held roles at BELVOIR BREWERY LIMITED as Head Brewer and General Manager, where responsibilities included brewing up to four days a week, and as a Brewer. Rory's background also includes leadership experience as a Cub Pack Leader for the Cub Scouts, and analytical work as an Associate Analyst at Sanofi, focused on quality control testing. Additional roles include Assistant Brewer at Dow Bridge Brewery and Bartender at Homes Park FA Headquarters. Rory holds an MSc in Brewing and Distilling with Entrepreneurship from Heriot-Watt University and a BSc in Chemistry from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
